Romans is placed first among the letters written by the apostle Paul. It's believed to be his greatest work. Here we have a systematic presentation of Bible doctrine, exploring the significance of the gospel of Christ. The book teaches us about the believer's righteous standing before God, and the sanctifying ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Christian. Chapters nine through eleven deal with Israel's past, present, and future. There is also instruction in living righteously because of God's great mercy. We should live right because He has made us right.
